Here she is! My little Painted By A Mystic... wearing the winning coat color. I'll come back in here and enter her information in a moment. For now I need to get all these up so I can go through and decide what to show Gnomon school

Btw, I'm getting a bit annoyed with HARPG and am tempted to say 'screw it' and just do my own thing. Is it really taking this long to get a yay or nay??? I mean I know a lot of people have applied, but then that makes it even more a pain in the arse for picking names and crap and getting approved because there's a back log of how many people and horses now that might have your name? Horses have the same names IRL (provided they aren't breed registered, and then different breeds do) so who gives a monkey's left pinky toe? Same with barn names too, but that's a bit more understandable to regulate.

The reason we have to register names is to prevent inbreeding and to make tracing bloodlines easier :shrug: I know, a lot of people have complained about the registration staff being so slow :( I blame it on st00pid n00bies not following the rules and the staff having to put up with THEM before they can get around to taking care of the rule-following players :shakefish:

She's gorgeous, by the way. =D Maybe a bit big in the barrel, but perhaps she's a stockier girl! I love her coloration and design. The HArpg can be a bit frustrating, but they'll get to your stable in time. New Horizon Stables took about a week or two to be recognized. They're pretty under-staffed, and the amount of notes they get must be incredible...

except people inbreed irl? (the morons, but still...) and well, if you care about bloodlines than it shouldn't be too hard to have breed registries that maybe mark the name or such and you can follow it that way. After all, they can follow real horses lines without worrying about double names in different breeds. If you cross out there could be registries for that (like the Half Arabian reg.) but that wouldn't really make sense unless you want to make a new breed that way or a 'grade' registry in the long run, heh.

And I'm not sure how long is too long, ya know? I mean it's been at least a month now. If I had done something wrong (because I definately put a subject line) they should have at least informed me of that by now I would think?

The no-inbreeding was something the creator, moonfeather, stood for when she came up with the game. Yeah but few people pure-breed their horses on HArpg, there really aren't yet enough horses to set up individual breed registries for all the animals. :/ See a good 50% or more of the HArpg horses are breedless colorful-pretty-horses so they wouldn't have a breed to register in, so I like to think of the HArpg as one big breed registry. :)

I checked on the account and the mods are just really behind :/ I'm gonna see if they want any help going through messages because I know a lot of people have been waiting since summer to get their stables approved. :(

Okay, well so long as it didn't get lost in translation >.<

And well, maybe after all of this there might be more for individual registries? That'd help with the processing more that's for sure. People could volunteer to work the registries in small teams and that would take the load off of everyone. And they can be preference registered by Dam or something.
